A candle burns for you
forever
in the window of my soul
I know where you are
for I have seen you there
and watched the Lord smile
as He greeted you
yet I can not reach you
between here and there
is an eternity
so I burn the candle
in silent memory
of all that was
for time can quiet
but can it truly heal?

It is not ours to know the paths of others,or why things are as they are-all things happen for a reason. It may be that we will never know the reason, but God's plans are flawless. Would knowing ever change what must be? Pain,loss,struggles, all these shape us and make us what we are and what we will be. Strength and Faith are not always easy but are necessary if we are to continue on.
