I want to be lost in you
far away from everyone
and everything
the noise and chaos
of reality
life away from you
far from those who tell me
whi I should be with
why I should not love you
pointing out your every fault
yet do not know you
we could walk along the beach
you and I
watch the sun rise
or set
play in the surf
or maybe a walk in the forest
up a mountain path
to a place far above the world
would they remain
like seagulls or hawks
soaring above us
searching for prey
in your presence
they and my thoughts of them
fade away
as you draw me deeper inside
to the places unexplored
if you lead me
I will go
